Phillips Physical Therapy specializes in One on One Treatment for patients in need of restorative care. Our founder, Cutreal Phillips, leads a team that provides compassionate and skillful concierge PT services in your home or any other comfortable location.
Our team comes right to your door to start you off with an evaluation, and works with you to create a tailored treatment plan that helps you safely meet your goals to restore or maintain functional mobility.

TreatmentOnce your evaluation is completed, your therapist creates a tailored treatment plan addressing your needs. Each patient also receives a complimentary home program to allow you to independently perform therapeutic exercises for enhanced benefit.

Post Operative CareSurgery is just the beginning of the healing process, and proper healing is vital to the success of any procedure. Our post-operative therapy program will help you restore joint movement, strength, and flexibility to ensure the best possible results following any surgical procedure.

Evaluation and TreatmentDuring your initial evaluation, you and your therapist will review your history, including your previous levels of functioning, and how your symptoms are affecting your everyday life. Your therapist will also guide you through a physical evaluation to assess your current level of function. This initial evaluation will help Cutreal and his team create a customized treatment plan.

Workplace Injury Prevention WorkshopsCutreal or another valuable member of our team is available to visit your workplace and facilitate a workshop to identify and address potential workplace hazards, as well as suggest better ergonomic options to promote optimal workplace health for employees/coworkers.

Payment OptionsPhillips PT is a self-pay service; we also accept cash or money transfer apps (ie: Venmo). We are not an insurance provider but have a referral service to assist those who wish to identify a local provider that accepts their insurance.

Stroke RehabilitationStroke Rehabilitation helps you regain skills lost due to a Stroke or similar brain injury; Stroke rehab can help you regain independence and improve your quality of life.

Ergonomic Assessment and TrainingErgonomic assessments and training helps patients evaluate their at-home offices/workstations to ensure best posture and efficiency. This process helps the patient reduce bodily-stress caused by poor posture and the repeated motions of office/computer work.

Aqua TherapyAquatic Therapy, or pool therapy, is a water-based exercise program. This low-impact form of therapy is beneficial for a wide variety of medical conditions, as our team works with you in the water to enhance muscle strength, endurance and increase range of motion.

Gait and Balance TrainingDuring Gait and Balance Training, our physical therapy team works with you to improve your stability and confidence with walking. We will focus on your coordination and strength so that you may walk safer and further.
MEET OUR STAFF
James Cutreal Phillips, DPT, is a board-certified physical therapist. He graduated from New York Institute of Technology in 2009 and has over 13 years of experience working with patients in a variety of settings including orthopedics, sports rehab, aqua therapy, acute and subacute rehab.
In addition to founding and operating Phillips PT, Cutreal is an adjunct professor at Stony Brook University, and also manages the Human Performance Optimization program for special forces at West Hampton Air Force Base.
Outside of work, Cutreal loves spending time with his wife and kids, playing in the park or going on any new adventure involving fun. He also works with his wife to inspire others to adopt an active lifestyle through their small non-profit GUMI (Get Up and Move It).
